| DAY1 | transfer from Van airport to Van. After lunch in Van, we travel on to Dogubeyazit. At dinner you can enjoy traditional Kurdish music and dances in the performance of the local folklore group. After the show you are welcome to try your feet and join in the dancing. Accommodation is provided in a 3-star hotel. |
| DAY2 | transfer from Dogubeyazit to 1800m by truck at 7am, ascent to 2800m (1st camp) by cross-country skiing (4 hours). We pitch tents and hot food is served for dinner. |
| DAY3 | start in the morning at 8am, ascent to 3800m (2nd camp) by cross-country skiing (4 hours). We pitch tents and hot food is served for dinner. |
| DAY4 | start in the morning at 8am, ascent to 4600m for acclimatisation, return to the 2nd camp at 3800m. All-day cross-country skiing. Hot food is served for dinner. |
| DAY5 | start at 5am, ascent by ski up to 4700m, then climb (using crampons) up to the summit (5137m). We reach the summit by about 10am. We return to the 2nd camp, where hot soup and tea is served. After some rest, we pack the tents and return to 1800m by ski. There, the truck is already waiting for us and takes us back to the hotel in Dogubeyazit. Dinner in Dogubeyazit. |
| DAY6 | Dogubeyazit day-tour visiting Ishak pasha palace, Noah’s ark, the meteor crater. After lunch in Dogubeyazit, we drive to the hot spring in Diyadin, a perfect cure for tired feet! We return to Dogubeyazit for dinner. |
| DAY7 | transfer to Van, visiting Van castle and Akdamar Island. On the last night we stay in Van. |
